Seven in our group got knocked out in the GB game last week. In terms of spreads, this week is a little bit more spread out. Remaining players have chosen ATL, DEN, and SEA for this week.
Well, I sqeaked it out with Atlanta, unfortunately everyone else made it too, using Minn, Seatle and most of them Denver. This week looks tough. I don't have any favorites yet though. Looking at:
Crossed my mind, but they are 3-0 and they might be a team that always wins a close game. Would be funny though to go against the team I used last week.
Still alive with my three entries of Atlanta, Seattle, and Minnesota this past weekend.
For Week Four, I have highlighted 4 games that I'm interested in. Any info, feedback, or advice is greatly appreciated:
Green Bay (-7) over NYG
Little nervous about GB, but they're coming off a 2-game losing streak, at Lambeau, versus a hot Giants team, but still fairly unproven. I like this game.
Pittsburgh (-4) over Cinci
Could be a good week to use the Steelers. At Pitt, versus a struggling Bengals team. Although I do feel that Cinci is still due for a breakout game from Rudi, Chad, and Carson.
Carolina (-3.5) over Atlanta
Don't like this game at all. Atlanta is so volatile, I feel, that anything could happen in this game. Staying away.
Baltimore (-5) over KC
Is KC due? In Baltimore, but maybe not the best time to use them. I do think the Chiefs will go off very soon, and this could be the week.
To sum, I feel that the first two matchups are the most favorable for GB and Pitt. Thoughts?
Yes, that is another enticing game. My issue with that game is this:
It's an AFC East division rivalry....at Miami. Scary. Some people say that you should add 3 points to the spread for the home team in the NFL. I agree with this sentiment, especially this year. That's why the 5.5(?) point spread is not that appealing, since the home field advantage basically brings the game to a -2.5 for the Jets, or something along those lines.
What do people think of Philly @ Chicago this week?
Philly will slaughter the Bears, they are losing too many players and have no stars left. They should be able to key on T. Jones and force their QB to beat them. Don't think they have a chance at keeping up with McNabb and TO.
