Henry Update

Postby Mercer Boy » Wed Sep 15, 2004 11:48 pm

Just want to give everyone the heads-up on how he's doing. I have him on one of my teams, so I figured I'd let everyone know.

Yahoo! player update thingy wrote:Sep 15 Henry, who missed most of the fourth quarter Sunday against Jacksonville due to leg cramps, has a right hamstring twinge, according to The Sports Xchange.
Recommendation: Henry has been receiving treatment this week but believes he'll be fine for this weekend's game in Oakland. He's not listed on the injury report, so we have little doubt that he'll be out there. Start Henry as you normally would, just know there's a little more risk that he'll need some downtime during the game if the ailment were to flare up again.

Sep 15 Buffalo Bills RB Travis Henry (general soreness) didn't take part in all of practice Wednesday, Sept. 15, because he's banged up a little bit. While he rested some, he's not on the team's injury report and is expected to be in the starting lineup in Week 2.

Haha, general soreness...I think he'll be good to go. You dang near have to run Henry over with a Mack Truck to stop him from starting a game.

Henry Rocks

I am not worried about soreness, since last year he played with a cracked rib. Henry's a gamer.

He should run all over Oakland. Warren Sapp and Washington may plug up the middle, but they are fat and slow. They couldn't stop Duce Staley or Jerome "TD Machine" Bettis. The Raiders LBs aren't good enough to make the plays on the outside.

To V-Unit : Fred is back in SanFran to block for Barlow. Look for 100+ and 2 td's this week especially with Dorsey starting at qb

Barlow's in for a bad year. If you can't do crap against ATL, you've got problems. NO is bad on defense too so it's worth giving him a second try but I think you have problems if he is a weekly starter for you. Not discounting his talent, he just has no help.
