I had Ricky Williams last year. He struggled like hell to put up OK numbers in that offense. And he's an All-Pro. Lamar Gordon is not an All-Pro. He might be good, but "huge upside" isn't a term I'd use on any Miami RB.

I got offered R. Gardner for Gordon. Gordon rides my bench (he's my third RB in a league where you must start 2 RB). I turned the trade down.

I actually worked a deal where I gave up Fitzgerald and Gordon, and got Harrison. The guy I traded with choose Moss and Harrison as his 1 and 2 picks in the draft. Obviously he doesn't have much for RB's. After week #1 he realized he was screwed. I jumped right on him with trade proposals starting Tuesday morning. He finally accepted last night. I now have T.O., Harrison and Santana as my starting 3 WR's.

Thanks to the Cafe' I grabbed Gordon of off waivers, and it could end up winning me my money league this year.

Funny how Gordon's value varies from league to league...

Thanks to the Cafe I picked him up in both of my leagues.!

One league...couldn't even get a backup TE in return yet.

The other league? Get this...I got a second round pick in next years draft...We only keep 2 players, so a second round pick is pretty huge. I am happy as all get out!

I always stack on RB depth anyway, so I never would have used him.

I'll hold onto him in my other league until I get a decent offer.
It's a great day to play Football.

eaglesrule..... are you in a yahoo public league... because there is a guy in my league who starts mcgahee and eddie george. I'm uberpack... if im actually in your league

no, and the thing is: its terrifying to think there is more than one team like that.

Not that I really expected this to fly, but thought it was a good start:
mcnair and gordon for peyton manning.

the guy starts:

peyton
owens
toomer
mcgahee
george
coles
vinateri
titans d

bench:

booker
kevin johsnon, plummer, mili, atrain

I cannot believe he didn't entertain that trade.

I mean he and another team sacrificed back depth for qb's and wr's hoping the new rules helped them out (clearly they won't erase the back depth)

one guy took wheatly and moe williams for hines. christ, I toled him he could have had gordon and julius jones and hesaid "don't be an idiot":

then I offered mcnair and gordon for peyton and the guy said don't make me laugh.

I'm irritated.

you can't win essentially sacrificing two spots a week like that.

Leonard Henry?

Ha ha...I took the trade for TRAVIS Henry and hoped that it wouldn't get a veto. I think that the other owner must have been really worried about the Henry/McGahee ordeal.

I should also point out that this is a Yahoo! public league and have a zero confidence in the FF intelligence of the other owners.

I don't think Ricky's heart was in it last year --as we found out. I'm thinking (and hoping) Gordon can be this years Rudi johnson....branch is good but WR's are easier to obtain than starting RB's.....good luck anyways, we'll see.
One for the thumb...

Pending trade in my league has Gordon going for Coles 8-o

No one vetoes trades in my league, so it will go through.

I have Portis, R. Johnson as my 2 Starters. Tatum Bell, Deshaun Foster, M. Morris and L. Gordon in my bench.

I'm trying to get K. Rob or D. Jax for him so I can have a QB (Hasselbeck) throw to one of them.

I might hold on..
