I'm from the Mike Singletary frame of mind where I would like to see him get tackled and have body parts break loose or in two ........ That would be cool ...

Wait, wait... there's fantasy impact here. If you're in an IDP league, and he sees some significant time at WR, you can play him at DB and essentially have an extra receiver on your team. Granted, not a very good one, but possibly better than a typical DB.

Fantasy Source spin: The team lacks depth at WR

The team lacks at QB. They could put 1989 Jerry Rice and a meta-bio-morphed Don Hutson / Steve Largent / Art Monk cyberclone and they'd still struggle.

The team lacks pretty much an offense besides Heap and Lewis.

I'll take a safety who gets plenty of tackles over a run-shy nickelback who will get an end around and maybe a heave down the middle into double coverage thrown to him a game.

That would be great....like Feagles or Eli last week...that type of leveled.

Nah, that's too soft. Both of them bounced right back up but what do you expect? It was the Eagles. I am not a big Deion fan either and I wouldn't mind seeing him get layed out. Not permanently injured or anything.

That's an intriguing way to look at it. I only thought of it as a WR to stay away from. But if he does get a couple receptions, he might be serviceable as a DB in leagues with IDP's. Especially if the scoring format includes receptions and has 1 pt/ 10 yds. 3 catches and 40 yards gives him about 7 points....plus any tackles or pass def's.

Might be a guy to watch.

Like the Warren Sapp issue, he is a great player, but never really put up enough consistent fantasy numbers to be on a roster, BUT! the occasional goalline run for TD would make some people consider a roster postition...
