Woods vs Watts: Who has more upside?

So what is the general consensus on these two WRs?

Which one appears to have the most overall upside & why?
Which appears to have the most short term value & why?
Which appears to have the most long term value & why?


For short term I'm going w/Watts. Lelie still hasn't put it together and this kid did great in the pre-season. On top of that. Rod Smith isn't getting any younger.

For long term it's a toss up right now. SF has any WRs fighting for time. Wilson had a nice week 1 and Lloyd & Hamilton are also there. Who knows when Woods will get a shot.

Right now Watts gets the edge in overall upside, IMO.

As a 9er fan,

Id go with Woods but right now if I had to pick its Watts..

I would give it till week 10 or so before Woods makes any impact

As long as Lelie continues to be on Shanny's good side and he stay healthy, Watts will have little value other than possibly some big play TDs but I'd be weary of having him near my lineup right now.

Woods has potential (who doesn't ) to produce in the future, but he is buried so far down the depth chart behind other young WRs with potential that he doesn't warrant a spot on your roster.

There was a really good thread on SF receivers. You might want to do a query search about it . Cliff Notes WOODS is DEEP DEEP in the WOODS like four or five on the depth chart, verify?

Lelie suffered a shoulder injury last game but played well. i dont know when he was hurt. Probably on that bomb that he caught and landed on his side.Lelie is going to start. Watts is #3 and highly touted. Did get some PT last game.

I like watts becuz he is closer to being a starter. and ahead in the depth chart. not to mention Dorsey is the new starting qb in SF.
