From FanBall:
Sep 16 Seahawks' running back Shaun Alexander sat out practice on Wednesday due to the knee bruise he suffered in week one against the Saints. However, Alexander says he expects to play on Sunday. "Every day it gets better, and hopefully by Sunday it'll be great," Alexander told the Seattle Times on Wednesday. "I don't ever think I won't play. Even if I'm in the worst pain I could ever think of, Sunday God will put a miraculous healing on my knee. So, I definitely think I'll play." Maurice Morris practiced with the No. 1 offense on Wednesday and will start this weekend if Alexander is unable to play.
Views: Seahawks' head coach Mike Holmgren said Wednesday that he hopes to have Alexander back in practice before the end of the week. On Tuesday, Holmgren said Alexander had to practice Friday or he would be held out of the game against the Buccaneers. We're starting to believe there is a better than average chance that Shaun will play this week, but we should know for sure by Friday.
I already posted this in another forum, but it is too good not to put here as well. Who can argue when God puts a miraculous healing on your knee?
