Guru has C-Pepp at 16 in my league.

It depends on your scoring system.

CBS Sportsline has a 'Guru.' It's probably just some computer program. During each week before the games, it gives each player a number that is supposed to represent their scoring for the upcoming game. My league has low scoring, so it'll give C-Pepp 16 and Manning 14 or something.

It leads to a lot of trash talk in my league, but rarely is accurate.

lol, I had my lineup window (CBS sportsline) still open from this morning and it had brady at 19, I refreshed it and he's down to 4. If you then proceed to click on the little red cross injury thing next to his name it goes to his profile and his fantasy analysis is this:

FANTASY ANALYSIS
The New England Patriots play at the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2. Brady looked great in Week 1 against the Colts and is highly recommended as a starter this week. Keep him active in all formats.

Why? so I can get 4 points??! lol, good thing im not a complete idiot or I might have sat Brady for Brooks (like last week !+) ) whos listed at 18 points by the Guru.

It says 4 points on mine to for Bradt. Here's another pretty funny prediction: Domanick Davis, Chad Johnson, and Isaac Bruce for a combined 37 points. (Last week 60 points) :-) Oh well, funny to look at and know you know more than their computer.

LOL!

I know the thing isn't accurate, but as someone else stated earlier, the "hospital symbol" states that he's a stud this week and should be started no matter what. But why the + mark then!?!?!

I wasn't sure what was up with him since it dipped so hard. Hell, he was this way last week, and look at what he did!

That's just nuts.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm hoping people don't think that symbol is a good thing...If that were the case, Steve Smith would be a stud for this week. I don't think he'll be starting on anyone's fantasy teams for a while...

The "Red Cross" means the player has some sort of injury. It does not denote "fantasy stud" status...

Just trying to make sure no one thinks it means something it doesn't. :-)

As a Brady owner last season I can tell you that he played most of the season(not sure about the start or the year) with an injury to his throwing arm. Didn't seem to bother him at all. If I were going to sit Brady it would be because he plays like a stud at home and mediocre on the road.
