Bucs' Rice asks McCardell to end holdout

Postby Shockers » Fri Sep 17, 2004 2:14 am

If this doesn't work, I don't know what will. How can $2.5 million dollars to play a game not be worth coming back for? His teammates want and need him back. It's time for him to swallow his pride and help his team win some ball games. Get over yourself, Keenan!

ESPN.com news services:
So far neither Keenan McCardell nor the Buccaneers are willing to budge as the receiver's holdout has stretched into the regular season.

Maybe a personal plea from one of McCardell's teammates could get him back into the fold.

"Keenan [McCardell], if you see this, probably you won't, come back," defensive end Simeon Rice told the Tampa Tribune. "I don't know if I'm saying things I shouldn't, but it's the reality of the situation."

I need Keenan to come back too. Right now I'm starting Andre Johnson, Rod Smith, Jerry Porter, and Donte Stallworth in a league that starts 4 WR. :~( Keenan, if you see this, probably you won't, come back. -- FF Newbie [Keenan McCardell Fantasy Owner]

Bucs could use all the help they could get. Does Keenan even have a reason to gripe?

Do you think he will have any value? He is alrady in the doghouse with Gruden. Even if he does, I don't see him of much value until late in the season

Even if he comes back, the O line can't keep LB's off Brad's back long enough to throw.
