Why? Because this erases any doubt as to the #1 reciever in SF. I don't know of a #1 returning kicks. If your comfortable relying on a kick returner, even in return yard leagues, then by all means, see the glass as half full. My post's point was to illustrate the ramifications to B. Lloyd, not to C. Wilson. Again, I'm glad there so many happy C. wilson owners out there, but the writing is on the wall. I'm just reading it. Of course, this may change, but for now, this is reassuring news to B. Lloyd owners.

Derrick Mason and Santana Moss returned punts.

You guys are killing me. I say I don't know of a #1 returing kicks and the reply is two guy's that moved from returning to full-time reciever spots; even if they were still returning kicks/punts, providing exceptions to the rule does not a fact make. Again, I don't know of a #1 returning kicks, and even if there were, it ain't many. The norm, and seemingly accepted by head coaches around the league, is that the #1 does not generally return kicks/punts. Again, there are several qualifiers in my post and you guys want to point to exceptions. I can't argue with that. ;-)

until he broke his leg, steve smith was a #1 wr and also the punt returner...by the way, did you mean that wilson is returning kicks or punts?

in any case, thanks for the info cunny ;-D

Rod Smith was back taking punts and kicks for Denver too so your #1 theory doesnt work.
