Any word on Surtain?

Postby dirtyape » Sat Sep 18, 2004 1:13 am

I'm trying to determine if he is in or out for MIA on sunday. If he out, I'm thinking I'll play C Johnson, but if Surtain is in Chad will sit.

Let's say Surtain is as healthy as hes ever been. Go ahead and name 3 WR's on your team you would start ahead of CJ.

Yeah. Surtain is good, but not good enough to bench Johnson.

Patrick Surtain is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, an absence the Dolphins would seem to be prepared for after loading their roster during the offseason with starting-caliber cornerbacks.

Yeah if you have 3 WRs that you would start ahead of CJ you must have spent way too many early picks on WRs. And CJ with or without Surtain will have a good day. But he'll have a much better day without. And since he's on my money team I'm going to hope Surtain stays on the bench.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!

I have Owens and Mason (good play this week vs IND) that could start. I could bench Johnson for Mason and play a RB - Brown or Foster - as my flex.

QB- Vick, Brooks, Plummer
RB- Portis, Chris Brown, Staley, Tiki, DeShaun Foster
WR- Owens, Chad Johnson, Derrick Mason, and 3 losers
TE- Bubba Franks, LJ Smith
K- Wilkins, Morton Anderson
DT- Ravens, Packers

1QB - 2RB - 2 WR - 1Flex - 1TE/K/DT

Id still start CJ over Mason. CJ is a playmaker.

Start CJ, Owens, and DeShaun. You should always, in best circumstances, start an RB in that flex.
