Chiefs Wideouts.

I'm still thinking a lot of guys around here are WAAAYYY too high on Borigter...guess we'll find out.

From CBSSportsline:An interesting battle to watch beginning in training camp this July will be among the Chiefs receiving corps.
Eddie Kennison and Johnnie Morton will go in as the starters. And while there is temptation to say that Marc Boerigter could push Morton for a starting position after Boerigter scored eight touchdowns on his mere 20 receptions in his first NFL season, there also is no guarantee that Boerigter can beat out Dante Hall for the No. 3 receiver spot.

Hall also caught 20 passes last year, with three TDs, though his average (16.1 yards) wasn't as impressive as Boerigter's 21.0 a catch, a figure aided greatly by a 99-yard touchdown play. The Chiefs are looking for ways to get Hall on the field more. They're saying the same things about Boerigter. Their path to more playing time appears to go through Johnnie Morton.

Heres a snippet I posted in the HAFAX forum a couple weeks ago...

According to the KC Star, the Chiefs already have their top four wide receivers set it stone. Johnnie Morton and Eddie Kennison will start, with Marc Boerigter and Dante Hall coming off the bench. That leaves Snoop Minnis, Sylvester Morris, and four others to compete for the last receiver spot.

Morris, a former first-round pick, has to be considered the front-runner because of the investment. If you're thinking about Boerigter as a sleeper, you may want to think again. The Chiefs are not ready to admit mistake with Morton just yet, and they just re-signed Kennison to a big contract.

No, not bitter C-hawk. I've always hated Morton. He's the type of guy that short-arms 3 passes over the middle, them celebrates like crazy when he catches a 5 yard out. What a prick.
