Espn just reported that Alexander did practice yesterday, but now he's listed as a gameday decision. That blows. If he's a gameday decision I don't think I'd start him. Can't take the chance. Nothing worse than turning on the tube and seeing Morris get the first carrie when Sa is starting for your FF team.

Check around the cafe tomorrow morning...if it's reported that he will go then it should be posted around here...maybe some of these Seattle boys can get up a little early tomorrow and let us know what the local reports are saying.

Yeah, I have him on one of my teams... I hope they say whether or not he's starting about an hour before the game, if not, I'll be pissed b/c I know Morris could get the job done and I'd have SA in who obv. wouldn't do anything if he's on the sidelines.

Seattle Times this morning said he looked good in practice Friday - no limping, no hesitation, etc - and that he took almost all of the 1st-team reps.

Holmgren didn't do much to clear up the situation, though. He said it would be a game-day decision whether to start him (after the training staff checks to see how much soreness he has after the one practice), and that "If he doesn't start then I doubt we'll play him. I think."

Just gonna have to scan Sunday a.m. for late-breaking lineup info.

I'm benching to be sure, but I have great options (Foster vs. KC, Brown vs. Ind, Henry vs. OAK, Onterrio vs. PHI).

I'm choosing to keep both Alexander and Morris firmly entrenched on the bench to be safe. Instead, I'm putting Onterrio Smith in at RB.

Holmgren said that if he doesn't start, he won't play at all.

So its looking like either split carries or no carries for SA.

This is how you get the defense to prepare schemes vs both backs...very smart.
