Maurice Morris was challenging for playing time before a hamstring injury intervened last season.
And while Shaun Alexander remains the starting running back, Morris is healthy and competing again. The Seahawks envision using him as a change-of-pace runner, particularly if Alexander is struggling.
"If things aren't working, he adds a different style," Holmgren said. "And the change-up, we could use that to our advantage, I think."
In case any of you Alexander owners are questioning Holmgrens favor for Morris.
