Did that get your attention? I thought it might. I have to choose to start two running backs from the following 3 this week. Which two would be your choice:
Sean Alexander
Edgerin James
Fred Taylor
Thanks!

Fred Taylor or James

I know it really comes down to Taylor or James. I just can't seem to decide between the 2. After last week I would think that Taylor would get the nod, but to sit James? I don't know.

I'd play Alexander and Taylor....Alexander is a must start, and if you have questions about the other two look at their schedules. James plays a tough/stingy Miami defense and Taylor is playing a pretty weak KC defense (look how good Cleveland did against them, and I'm a fan of the dawgs!). If Taylor can get past the line, then he should make some big plays!!! Plus, I don't trust that James is completely healthy...He still scares me....

yeah i based my decision on the matchups. KC will be much easier to run against than miami.

my lineup

Postby jewejt12 » Thu Sep 12, 2002 7:24 pm

Thanks that is good advice. Here is my lineup for this week:

Steve Mcnair
Sean Alexander
Fred Taylor
David Boston
Amani Toomer
Tony Gonzales
Martin Grammatica
Patriots

Our league doesn't require a TE, so I could put Isaac Bruce in place of Toomer or Gonzales. What do you guys think? Thanks for the help!

I'd go with James and Taylor, at least until I was sure about that Seattle O-line, even though they are playing 'Zona

So what do you think of the rest of my team? Should I trade one of my backs for a reciever? What are your ideas?

Shaun Alexander is a great back...but as the old saying goes a back is only as good as his offensive line. And the 'Hawks have BIG problems with thier line. Thus, Alexander did not look as good last week as he did last season. He had one TD, on a reception out of the backfield. But he could only muster about 35 yards rushing. I would start Taylor and James, even though Seattle plays the hopeless Cardinals. That's a really tough call though.
