Tim Brown

What are everyone's thoughts on this guy? Was last year just a down year, or is it a sign of things to come from him. I inherited a keeper team last year that featured Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, Troy Brown, and Donald Driver. Along with Driver I kept Rice over Tim just for the fact that Jerry looked like more of a safe bet this coming season than him, especially now with the emergence of the other Jerry (Porter). So what do you guys think Brown will do this coming season?

I think Brown is done he was great but unlike Rice I think father time has finally caught up with him. Last year he just looked to be in slow motion most of the time. He still has great hand but he is not gooing to beat anyone deep

I would pick both Rice&Porter before Him. Brown was undervalue for many years, but last year it became true- he not the same player. Now he is old and slow, almost sad

Brown was just re-signed to a two yr deal, im kind of surprised at that given his limited role. Perhaps Gannon will fire a few more his way this yr, but I wont be drafting him so i dont care

Yeah I think it is kinda sad. I wanted Oakland to win the SB last year so Tim Brown could get a ring.

I really didn't want Meshawn or Sapp to get one. Oh well...

In an offense like Oakland's, the "third WR" will still be worth a spot on someone's roster, but Brown's days as a fantasy starter are gone. Just ask me, I traded for him after week 2 last year. He was my #2, then my #3 (thank you, Lavernues Coles), then my #4 (Keyshawn Johnson), then trade bait. Try Porter in the middle rounds, as you have already heard
