That's why it took Ricky 400 attempts to get his 1200 or 1300 yards or whatever he got last year. The line is not very good. It's hard for someone to make a play when the other team's line is right in your face as soon as you get the ball.

Unless something changes on that front five, Gordon will probably not be a good option... :-t

Yea I am starting to doubt my thinking that Gordon had a chance at being a worthy fantasy starter. I missed the rush on him and wasn't expecting great numbers anyway but he has a lot of talent, that line is flat out pitiful.

Whenever Gordon gets the ball there are defenders all over his face. And I wouldn't call him a big letdown yet, I mean you most likely took him off of free agency.

Mentioned it a few days ago, Gordon will fare no better in Miami than Trung did in Washington last year.

They are what they are....decent backup RB's.

I think Gordon is better than a "decent backup". He didn't even have a chance to succeed tonight. Lamar would get the ball and the D-Line would already have full penetration.

You're ultimately examined by the level of your production. Is he more talented than Trung.?? IMO their isn't a huge difference. Both had a couple of nice fill-in games....neither have (or will) shown to be #1 RB's.

I'd look for 700 rushing yards 4-5 TD's. Don't expect him to be very effective or healthy for the entire season.

Wow.....does Miami's O-line suck.

I don't think anyone could look good with that blocking. I actually felt sorry for Gordon.

With Shaun Alexander's status in the air this week, I started Lamar Gordon over him.

Alexander only had 45 yards rushing and zero receptions. Gordon only had 22 yards rushing, but he also had 8 catches for 44 yards receiving. Since my league awards 1 point per reception and 1 point per 10 yards rushing/receiving, Gordon outscored Alexander fantasy-wise by a sizeable margin. From that perspective, I wasn't disappointed.

Yeah, the line is pathetic. Ricky looks like a genius to me. Sit out the beating this year & play next year behind an O-line in Oakland that can block.

Hopefully Edgerrin is watching what he'll have to run behind in Miami next year. :-o

Gordon did as well as anyone could expect him to, considering how STINKY the O-line was
