I heard that Barlow hurt his ribs in yesterdays game. Is it true and how serious is it?

I think what happened is the Niners THOUGHT they had the game in the bag. Barlow bruised his ribs or something, so they they thought they'd ride Jamal Robertson (who looked very good) and rest Barlow.

I think Barlow will be fine for next week. He'll probably sit out the full-contact drills this week. No big deal.

Sure hope you are right that it's nothing serious. I need him to be productive. Plus my other back is Priest and if he is banged up too, I could be in a lot of trouble.

It was realy strange to see him not in the game. When Robertson scored his rushing Td, Barlow gave him a real big bear hug. I think it was being precautionary, and protecting you #1 weapon. Unfortunately having Barlow on the bench probably cost the niners the game
