I am new to fantasy football so I was wondering what the general rule for the following scenario.

A trade offer was made on Friday for Deuce and R. Williams and K. Barlow. The trade was not acted upon until Deuce got hurt. The second player accepted the trade before the first player had a chance to retract the trade.

What is the general rule about a player injured after a trade been proposed. Should the commish step in and not allow the trade?

i know this doesn't answer your question, but i always pull my trade offers on saturday and definitely before the games start. then resume trade talks on monday or tuesday.

We actually talked about that prior to the draft, and decided that such a trade proposal would be void.

I don't allow trades to be accepted during games. Some people may be more or less informed to injuries than others.

I'd nix the trade if I were the commish. Trading players of unequal value is one thing, at least they're playing.

Taking advantage of a trade that involves an injured player...well that's just a move by an ass...and I would seriously consider booting you out of my league.

The trade should go through. You should never leave a trade on the table on Sunday, but it is not up to the commish to protect owners from their own mistakes. The commish should only veto trades when there is a clear case of collusion.

Yeah. We should have talked about it at the beginning of the season. The commish is one the player involved (the one getting screwed) so he is asking everyone in the league to vote whether the trade should go through or not.

I hate to see anyone get stuck with that trade, but he should have known better.
