They re-signed him today, but I doubt he'll get enough carries to be worth picking up.

I heard they cut him over the weekend and then resigned him today. Stecker will be the third-down back, but is hurt anyway.

So it's week three, and I'm turning to KiJana Carter to salvage my season.

Ouch.

From what I have gathered I can't figure out if Stecker or Carter will start.

I can just imagine New Orleans' management calling back Carter after they dropped him and asking him to sign again.

But regardless I think it might be an RBBC while Deuce is out. Stecker's injury makes him unlikely to carry the complete load.

Chaucer, you might want to pick up Blaylock and keep an eye on Priest Holmes' status. If Blaylock plays, he'll be a solid start against Houston.

That's what I've got on the resigning. Not sure it's happened yet, but everyone seems to feel it's a done deal. But apparently they cut him YESTERDAY. That's got to be a fun phone call to make.

Thanks for the tip on Blaylock. I think I will pick him up...
