Foster or Davis? Final Verdict

Postby Count_Rugen » Mon Sep 20, 2004 6:01 pm

1. Lets assume Foster maintains the same relative level of play. 2. Lets assume Davis comes back in week 5.

Will Davis get his starting spot back? Will there be run sharing between the two? Or will Davis be backup?

What's the scoop folks? My opinion is that Davis will get his starting slot back. Is there any reason to disbelieve this?

If Foster maintains his level of play, 170 yards/week, not only will Davis not get his job back, but Foster will break the all time single season rushing record in only 15 games.

Not only that, but also the NFL will take serious heat for scheduling the Panthers to play against the KC "Career Day" defense 15 consecutive weeks.

I'm not convinced that Foster is just a one-hit wonder because of a crappy KC D. I think he's good. How good remains to be seen.

How did Davis' surgery go?

Maybe he'll need to rest up for next season..no need to rush back (we all now what happened to Maggs (white sox) when he came back to early)
One for the thumb...
