Portis?

Quentin Griffin.

From MSNBC: A HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE BACK in college, he slipped to the fourth round because he’s 5-7, 195. That doesn’t bother the Broncos because 2002 offensive rookie of the year running back Clinton Portis also weighs about 195 pounds. What’s more important is Griffin has the timing and patience required in Denver’s ground game.

After the Broncos’ recent minicamp, Griffin’s quickness was the talk of the locker room.

Portis is unhappy with his contract, but he is expected to show up for training camp. If he doesn’t, the Broncos have another option.

Denver is a breeding ground for top quality rb's, so any news like this has to worry Portis owners.

I think theyre just shooting the wind up Portis to stop his head from swelling any more.

That sounds about right for when he bloes out a knee or gets snapped in half by some LB out weighing portis by about 50 lbs. It is the curse of the Denver RB
