Foster's value when Davis returns?

If Foster plays like he did against KC after their bye week (can't remember who they play off the top of my head) then it's his job to lose IMO. But I think Mostly RBBC with 60/40 for Davis

I expect that Foster will come back to Earth slightly against a surprisingly good Atlanta D... Denver is not doing bad stuffing the run, either... And Philly's D is, as usual, very tough...

I look for Foster to probably get a 50/50 split against those teams... He may even be named the starter, but no way will he repeat his KC performance, and that should lead to carries for Davis....

I agree...if Foster can have another good game coming off of the bye week I think that it will definitley help his situation for the starting position. Even if Davis comes back and assumes his role I don't think it will be long before he gets hurt again anyway.

It's still a big IF, as in "if Davis comes back and is healthy." But even if Davis is back and as healthy as before the knee injury, Foster could be getting the vast majority of the carries now.

Davis looked dead in the Green Bay game.. and from what i heard his injury occured in a practice last week, so he was 'healthy' in that game.. I think Foster is the better back right now, he's looked better this season and honestly I thought he looked like the better of the two in the playoffs last year..

When Davis comes back I'm guessing they'll probably try to force him into the lineup in order to be loyal to him, but he will struggle again and Foster will probably take over as the main man there officially shortly after..
