there is a kid in my league who has made two pick ups that have come out of no place. A couple weeks ago he picked up lamar gordon before he was traded. today he picked up lamont jordan) in the process of being traded to the raiders). my queston is, where do some people find out about these sources. is there some secret website? the cafe is usually pretty good, but i havent seen too much on stuff like this.

spill the secret ! ;-)

A bunch of the early info seems to come from local radio ect.
Is the Jordan trade really happening? I picked him up today. That would be great.

I think the Jordan trade will be officially announced tomorrow if it hasn't been finalized already...

Is Jordan worth anything with Wheatley, Fargas, and Zero already there? I'd have to think not.

What role will Jordan have at the Raiders?

I think Jordan instantly becomes the #1 in Oakland. They have 3 backs. Would they make this trade to bring in another #2?

I'm still pretty skeptical about this. I can't see the Jets giving him up for a 3rd, and I can't see the Raiders giving up a second. I sure hope it happens. If the raiders do give up a high draft pick, I would think they would have to use him as a feature back.

ngub12: Sorry to hijack your thread. I still get my info from websights (fanball ect), but the cafe always seems to be ahead of the game.

I have used the following site: sportsillustrated.cnn.com. Go to the rumors page, then scroll to the NFL section. It has a nice capsulated form of various local newspapers with press releases. It was the first source of the lamont jordan talks, that I saw anyway. Nothing is final yet by the way.

lol a Jordan thread hidden inside here... but yeah, usually people get it from their local radio. The cafe is probably the next fastest thing you can get info from because once it is heard, I am pretty sure someone will have a post about it.

I don't know if I should take a flyer on Jordan... maybe? How close is this deal to getting done? The raiders gonna budge on the 2nd rounder?
