I think this is a pretty sweet deal

http://www.pokerchipshop.com/

Looks like if you open up a new fiddy buck account at pokerparty.com and use "“FIRSTDEPOSIT" as coupon code you
get a decent 500 poker chip set (11.5 gram chips...sound heavy enough).

They'll also spot you 25 extra bucks in your account.

Eh?

Pretty cool deal if you play for real money!

I bought a set of chips at a game store at The Mall of America a few years ago (yes, I was actually in Minnesota for a few days). I don't know what the weight is, but then again, I don't have anyone to play poker with anyway... :,-(

Wow, I just signed up and deposited my $50 (the chips and case are worth at least double that).

If I don't get my chips I'll come back and tell everybody.

Unless you want to watch Randy or you're stalking Prince, is there really any reason to go to Minny?

I should have known that when I went. I'll probably never go again.

The reason I was there was for a college buddy's wedding in Brainerd. He freaking blew all of us off like we were outcasts. My friends and I were not very happy. :-[

At least we got to see the "Fargo" hotspots: the Blue Ox Bar and Paul Bunyan Land (with a humongous Babe the Blue Ox - that's my friend Rob in the picture):

It's okay dude. It is pretty boring here, unless you go Mpls-St. Paul.
