Pokerparty rigs their shit so bad..
You'll see like Pocket aces/kings a lot, and get face cards a lot after your first deposit, but after your second, you start getting shit.. and rarely ever see face cards.. I don't know, I prefer Pokerpages.com or ultimatebet.com..

That's exactly why I wanted to leave UB.
At every sit and go it seemed like one person keeps getting pocket aces or hitting 3 rivers in a row, and it was never me.

My dad picked up a similar set to the one advertised at Poker Chip Shop (if not exactly - it looks pretty close - a few years ago off of eBay.
If it's anything like what my dad got, it's definitely worth it. The chips and case are NICE. When Mookie confirms everything, I might have to go set up my own account...

Here is what has happened. I signed up and deposited my $50 (now up to $73 thank you very much). I then received an email asking for my address for delivery of the chips. I wrote them back saying that I gave my address when I signed up at Partypoker. So far no response.
Being the suspicious sort, I sent an email to partypoker telling them that this seems to be a scam. This is the response that I got:
Dear Patrick,
Thank you for contacting us.
It is true that you have entered your address while registering with us and we have it. However, the Poker chips are given out by an affiliate of our site and not by PartyPoker.com Since we do not share information about our players, they are contacting you for the address.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Department at any time. We are here 24/7 to assist you via email.
Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site!

So since it looks like the promotion is recognized by partypoker I sent off my address.
I will keep you posted...

The bonus $25 comes with the condition that you have to play 125 rated (ie for money) hands within 30 days. I am only up to 70 so I don't have the bonus yet. The crappy thing is that they do not count sit and go tournament - which is what I like to play. Oh well.

I'm holding off while you figure out if it's legit or not. If it is, a few friends and I will all be transferring money from PokerRoom.com to PartyPoker. Those chips are just too nice to pass up.
But....I posted this on the darkside and Madison said that other affiliates of partypoker have put out the same offer more than once and he has gotten his chips. Just PM him for the details.
