is Lelie the go to guy?
I may want to trade for him since its a buy low opportunity right now.

Rod Smith is the #1 in Denver right now since Plummer targets him more than anyone. Lelie is still a good pickup if you can get him cheap, though.

Rod is the #1, but he doesn't get down the field like he used to, and is basically just a possession receiver. If Lelie stepped up, he could put up some nice numbers as the Bronco's down-field threat. However, until he takes the next step and gets regular looks down-field, he is too inconsistent to be a regular starter.

Rod is clearly the number one guy. Gets the most looks by far. Plummer doesn't even look towards Lelie or Watts. Look for Smith to have a decent year this year. Just needs to find the endzone.

Asked this over in the Draft/Trade forum, but it applies better here:

-Is Rod Smith currently a 'possession-type' receiver?
and more importantly,
-Is Rod Smith getting the looks that would have been Sharpe's in past seasons?

If the answers to both are more or less yes, then I'd think that Rod Smith has a chance to be as valuable fantasy-wise as he's ever been. With all TE's combining for 7 receptions so far, perhaps Rod Smith is going to be far more valuable than many of us had him ranked.

Will Rod Smith completely overshadow both Lelie and Watts due in large part to Sharpe's retirement?
