Get rid of Pennington, NOW

Look at his next 6 games--Miami twice, NE, Buffalo twice and Baltimore.

Pennington is going to have a tough time getting great numbers over the next 7 weeks. If you have him trade him for better value while you can.

I think his numbers will be affected, but I don't know if someone should just dispense him...unless you can get a good trade...I think with Martin being contained a bit more ....he will start passing to his go to guys ...like Moss

Before I start hearing about how bad the trade is, keep this in mind:

1) Penny is my back-up behind Manning, who never misses a game...

2) Palmer has Cleveland during Manning's bye, so that matchup isn't too bad...

3) QB's only get 3 pts per passing TD, so they are much less important than WR's...

4) My WR's are hurting right now, and I need a boost to propel me to top dog....

5) Palmer is coming off of a horrible showing against MIA, and the person's other QB is Delhomme who's on a bye, so she might be looking to deal...

I'd cancel that man. Porter should come around soon, and has more potential than Santana Moss, especially if Kerry Collins gets some playing time.

I see where you're coming from but aim a bit higher in return.

I agree with The Jury on this Plindsey. I think you can do better than SMoss on that deal. We still dont know the value of Moss right now. It looks like he will be their primary reciever - but I still see him as a gamble with the uncertainty surrounding him: how big a role do McCareins and CMart have, and how will it affect SMoss?

As of right now, SMoss has 8 rec. for 152 - pretty good numbers.
However McCareins has 7 receptions for 75 - the basic difference between the two is a 50 yd catch Moss made with 5 minutes left in last Sunday game.

The most troubling thing to see if you are a SMoss owner however has to be CMart - not only are they feeding him the ball more than ever - they also have gotten him involved in catching the ball out of the backfield: after 2 games CMart leads the Jets in receptions. I dont think thats a good thing for SMoss' fantasy numbers.

All Im saying is I think you could get a better deal for Penny. I know you are probably stuck with the owner you are in talks with because he is the one with the need, so your options are limited - but be careful there.

I think that once the Jets face a good defense.....and Cmart is contained a bit...Penny will have to stick more to a go to guy....and this is where Moss...could flourish.......I stilll think Moss is a good receiver.....he is my second wr behind Holt and Porter is my third..

The more important match ups to look at are the ones he has at the end of the season during the playoffs.
