Wow, three spreads in double digits (and a 9 thrown in for good measure) and 8 o/u numbers over 40+. Huge numbers this week.

This looks like the week to pick the Dog and the under.

San Diego is a good looking Dog and the unders on the Philly and San Diego games also look good right now.

I'm taking that KC-HOU game right now. I don't know why, but I think Houston is going to win that game. That defense is just piss poor.

I also like the houston KC game, it doesn't look like KC will have priest, and i think houston is due for a nice little W.

For the list above, my feeling was that the following teams would beat their spread: NY Giants, Houston, Philly, Atlanta, SD, SF and Oakland. I'm trying to cut this list down to 4 teams that look good to beat the spread. Thanks for your help.

Duck, I moved your post into this thread so that we could keep all talk about Week 3 lines (except the lock of the week) in one thread.

The four that I would take would be:

The Giants to cover at home in a close, low scoring game.
San Diego and San Francisco to lose but to keep it close so that Denver and Seattle do not cover.
Those are the only three that I would bet. If I had to pick a fourth, I would say that the KC/Houston game goes under.

There's 3 I'm looking at taking action on this week.

Eagles -4.5 at Detroit
San Diego +10 at Denver
Houston +7.5 at KC

That Houston/KC game has gone down from 8.5 I believe to 7.5 currently. How far would you let it go down until you pass?

I like your first two and I am staying away from the KC game.

Priest is listed as questionable - and his backup is Derrick Blaylock?!?!? No single player starting has as much impact on a line as Priest right now.

With Priest I would take KC and give up the 7.5, without him I would give up the points. Right now ???

Watch out for the Cin/Bal game, another Home Division Dog, I believe they are 2-0 this year (Clevland week1 and NY Giants in week 2) While I dont like Cinci, I would'nt go near this game.
