Eddie George

From the current (June 4-10) edition of USAToday's Sports Weekly:
"Eddie George: The Titans have been looking for a way to ease their former workhorse into a new role. Drafting Chris Brown is a signal the transition is now ready to occur.

Personally, I've never been a fan of Eddie (zero 2nd effort) George.
What do you think?
And what, exactly, is this "new role"?
Is Eddie more-or-less done?

Man everybody is always so down on Eddie. For the love of god the guys been hurt and yes he has taking a pounding over the years but he still had a decent year. I like to have Chris Brown for insurance but I really don't want to see eddie's role get any smaller. I still think he's great.

Eddie Rules

:,-( Give Him a break. He was banged up all year and it took a lot of guts to stick it out like he did. Look at his touchdowns for a guy running behind that line.

I think Eddie was pretty good for what is automatically considered by many as a horrible year last year. He's been hampered by injury but I don't think he's down for the count yet. Of course they need to look ahead to the future, and I think Chris Brown was a great draft pick, but a healthy Eddie George is still capable of producing.

Mathews is "old" and George is showing some wear... hate to say it, but I think you're screwed! This will be the year Steve "Air" McNair must return if the Titans want to win!
