Johnson is a fantasy starter who will probably get your about 4-5 yardage points a week and an occasional TD. I think he'll probably finish top 5-7 for TEs this year.

I have my reasons. LJ Smith may have put up good #s so far, but he is, at best, the 3rd scoring option (behind westbrook and T.O.)
I would put eric johnson as the niner's #2 option. They may score less, but he will get more looks and more yardage

LJ is simply not as valuable because he is sharing looks with another very good TE. As a matter of fact, Chad Lewis has more receptions and yards but LJ obviously has those 2 TDs. TDs can be a pretty flukey stat, and I put more emphasis on yards because of that.
