Even as Brian Griese moved closer to an agreement with the Miami Dolphins, with an agreement possible as early as Friday night, the number of attractive options available to the former Denver Broncos starter have continued to increase.

ESPN.com has learned that the Chicago Bears, who earlier this offseason signed Kordell Stewart as their starter, have been in substantive negotiations with agent Ralph Cindrich. And the Green Bay Packers, who at some juncture must address a future without Brett Favre, along with one unidentified AFC North team, also have made overtures.
