i think its very possible.. especialy after Davis's poor showing early this season... Foster is just younger and more agile.. He is after all the RB of the future in carolina... Davis was gunna probably retire after this season anyways..

Davis only had nine carries. It's kind of hard to guage someone's performance on NINE CARRIES. Carolina got behind early against Green Bay and had to shift from their running game to a more pass oriented offense, which isn't exactly Davis' forte. Meanwhile, DeShaun Foster has a great game against one of (if not the worst) defense in the league and is now being heralded as the next big thing.

Sell DeShaun while his stock is high and go out and buy Stephen Davis before it's too late.

no, absolutely not. You can write it down, take a picture, foster will not start over davis this season as long as davis is healthy.

I agree. Foster will be the starter no matter how well foster runs. I do however see foster getting a few more carries.

I think you have to go with Davis. He had a great year last year and has just had a couple of bad games.

If I was Carolina I'd wait until after the 4th or 5th game and then decide.

Gonna be job-share, pure and simple. That was kind of the direction Carolina was headed with more of an emphasis on the passing game anyway, and the SSmith injury just sealed the deal.

In games they get ahead and want to burn some clock, you'll see more Davis. When they're behind or up against stout interior run defenses, a little more Foster.
