Fragile Freddie to get Short-Yardage Carries.

Del Rio told reporters running back Fred Taylor won't come out of the game in short-yardage situations this season. "He's 230 pounds. I think he's plenty brutish enough. He's too talented not to be out there," Del Rio said.

hehe, gotta guess he wont make 16 games this year then :-)

Its good news, he may put up really good numbers this year. Just a matter of taking the risk on picking him.

I knew this would be a risk...

I LOVE Taylor and I have had him as a keeper on my team for the last 3 seasons. After holding a guy like him, one where you have to wait through all of his injuries, for that long it just becomes too much.

I moved him along with Chad Johnson for Bennett and Moulds...

I already have James coming back and LT and Deuce as my top 2...I love Freddy and will always wish him the best...

id think most people who have had him 3 years straight would hate him by now... 8-o

i like freddy too, and i called his 16 game season last year ;-D

i think he can stand up to another year, i hope so anyway, since he was ym second round pick in the NKL.

how does 1400 yards and 14 tds on the ground sound? :-)

IF he can stay healthy there's no telling how good he'll do.

Hey Terp...YOU HAVE to love a guy to hold him that long through injury plagued seasons...

just can't confuse love with fantasy...or even sex for that matter...

no better time to trade him than when all the hype is up

Pick up his backup. I can't imagine he is going to survive the season.

a 13 game Fred Taylor (with short yardage carries) is better than a 16 game Jamal Lewis imo.

If I knew I'd only get 13 outta him I'd still draft him top 10.
