Contrary To Reports, QB Marc Bulger Remains Unsigned
CBS Sportsline

Contrary to published reports, backup QB Marc Bulger has not yet signed the 1-year contract he was tendered as an exclusive rights free agent. Bulger was tendered at $375,000 -- the minimum for a player with two credited seasons. Agent Tom Condon told some reporters Bulger had signed the deal June 1, but at the end of the ensuing week, the Rams had yet to receive a signed contract.

I think it would be hilarious if he held out. Seriously, that's a pathetic amount of money for how important he is to the Rams this season.

It's a considerable slap in the face...

granted he's a backup but they should have found SOME WAY to take care of the guy....

like give him a multi year deal at 375.000 this year....and 2 mil next or something

This is great, I really hope he does hold out, he deserves more and everyone except the rams know it.

yeah that's absurd. Most teams would kill to have this guy as a backup and some teams as a starter. This is one guy who has a legit reason to hold out and i hope he does it. $375 grand. They might as well kick his dog while their at it.

What do most Backup QBs get, it has to be a lot more than $375,000 With Warner's age/hand you would think that the Rams would take care of this and get a deal done

forget what backups get...

how much money do guys like Palmer, Leftwich, Boller, Akili and Griese make?

I'm not saying that Bulger should get those kind of packages but out of that group can you really isolate any one of those guys that's clearly better than Bulger on the NFL level??

You think Shanny would have signed Bulger to play in DEN if he could have?

It's hard to criticize STL though...they've shown that they do take care of their own when the time comes...Faulk, Warner, Bruce etc...

I just think they should have done a LITTLE more at this point for Marc
