KIRKLAND - Koren Robinson initially said his right hand was fine.
X-rays later said the hand was fractured in two places.
Seattle Seahawks medical personnel said Robinson will need three weeks to heal.
Robinson, the team's leading receiver, fell hard during practice last week. The hand survived the fall but cracked when stepped on by a teammate, the Seahawks said.
Robinson missed practice Monday and will miss the final two minicamp practices today and Wednesday. The Seahawks expect him to participate in the beginning of training camp July 26.
Robinson, 23, led Seattle with 78 receptions for 1,240 yards last season.
He wore a splint Monday.
