NEW ORLEANS -- To help convince the New Orleans Saints to give him a new contract, Pro Bowl receiver Joe Horn skipped all the offseason workouts.
On Tuesday, it showed. Horn dropped a 25-yard pass on a post route while being defended by safety Tebucky Jones. After the play, Horn slammed his hands on his helmet.
Horn dropped a second pass that was thrown low and forced him to slide on his back. He then lay on his back for a few seconds.
Horn, who has said he needs to get back into football shape, agreed last week to a new three-year contract said to be worth $13.5 million.
