Very frustrating. I benched Taylor after 2 lackluster games in favor of Griffin and I'm trailing because of it.

WEll, I turned down a the following trade:

McNabb
WAlker
Dillon

For

Hasselback
Fitzgerald
Q tip

Walker has a FREAK'N Huge game and Q tip blows it all day long.

Wont get that trade again.

Griffin is awesome!!! 12 carries for 7 yds and a fumble to boot...what other starting RB can claim such numbers this week?

:~(
That's my two cents and it's worth every penny of it!

How did you possibly turn that trade down? Each player you'd get at each position is consensus-better than the player you'd give up at that position.

I feel your pain.

Hass looks like he's going to be fine, so take heart. But Griffin's going to become a question mark (and anything goes with nutty Shanahan) and there's not an Arizona QB who could throw a 5-yard out pass right now.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

At halftime, Q-Tip had 6 carries for ZERO yards. Yeah, he looked horrible against SD, but Hearst didn't look any better. I'm just waiting for Bell to get a few carries.

What happened to Tatum Bell today? Was he out on injury? Inactive?

We were discussing the trade but he was hesitant to give up McNabb. I also don't think Dillon is going to be anything special this year.

Oh well.

I guess the rib injury was enough to make sure that he stayed on the bench. I'm wondering if we'll see Bell anytime soon (barring his health)?

FROM FANBALL:
September 26, 2004 6:02 PM ET
Broncos: Bell inactive
The News
Broncos' running back Tatum Bell was inactive for the Broncos' game versus San Diego with a rib injury.
Our View
Bell was listed as probably on the injury report, so the move is somewhat surprising. Garrison Hearst will get any Quentin Griffin leftovers with Bell out.
