What's up with Lee Suggs, is it time to drop this guy or what? Willy had decent number this week, does this solidify his starting role?

Absolutely not. How can you think of dropping RBs right now? They are dropping like flies and there can't be much in your free agents. He is still the starter. I have kept the board up to date and said in the middle of last week that I don't expect him to play vs. NY Giants. I do expect him to play this upcoming week. They were being cautius with him (and rightfully so since they have William Green) but now that they are 1-2 and looking beyond pathetic, they will suit him up. I wouldn't start him next week unless you have to, but he's 2 weeks away from being a weekly starter.

Green ran for over 90 yards yesterday (also a 40 yard TD run that was taken away on a weak holding call.) But Suggs is clearly the better back, expect some decent things from him still this year.

Van, so I can sneak by using Willie Green this week? I kind of expect they'd bring Suggs back slow, maybe 5-7 touches, but Green should start and carry the load Sunday right?

I didn't know he had a 40 yard run called back. Dude is overdue to score!

I imagine they are going to get the same amount of carries this week. But Butch probably won't name the starter until Friday or so. Green helped his case last game, but Suggs is 100% cleared to go now. It will be a risk starting either one this week but some of us don't have a choice (what sucks is having both of them and trying to guess on which one to go with.)

As a browns fan, and somebody who watches their games, it will be a welcome sight to see L Suggs back. But, that does not make the fantasy pick easy. One has to take into account the complete idiocy of Butch Davis. For some reason, he has a soft spot for William Green. Even if Suggs outplays W. Green, do not expect Suggs to carry 95% of the load. It won't be a RBBC, but it will be about 10 carries per week for Green I bet. Suggs isn't on my team, but I would like him DESPITE the above. He is a talent who will do alot with the 15 carries or so he gets per week. Granted the O-line sucks, but I would NEVER drop Suggs at this point. Hope that helps a little.

Week 4 will be a pretty tough time to play either back considering WAS's rush D is 1st in the NFL allowing less than 50 yds a game on average. Granted they havent faced elite rushing offenses, the point remains: <50yds a game. :-o
