Personal Cheatsheet

Postby T-DIDDY » Fri Jun 13, 2003 10:38 am

I only have one more week in my current job. My new job will be a lot more time consuming, meaning no research on the internet about fantasy football. So I'm trying to get my info together now for my draft that is in the end of August. Obviously, I will be changing a few things by then, but I'd like to get most of the time consuming things out of the way now. I quickly came up with a personal cheatsheet. I would appreciate it if you guys could read through it and tell me what you think. Keep in mind that I've never done this before, and I did it rather fast, so don't be too harsh. I'm at work right now, and it's hard to really put a lot of time into it. I value your opinions, and thank you for your help.

Think you've done a nice job. A few little things could be switched here or there. Personally, I'm a Favre fan and think that he'll have a good year en route to a possible Super Bowl ring before retiring. I see you have him pretty low on the list, with Pennington above him. While I love Pennington, too, I really think he will decline some this year as a starter after his best receiver left town. There's also concern of Martin breaking down again. I don't know how much I want to gamble on his ability to carry the offense almost by himself.

Couple of thoughts for you. Most of the list is solid depending on preferance but a few stand out to me. One I think Willie Green is too low. I think he should be a top 20 pick. Also I think Rice is a little high. I love the guy but I don't expect big things out of him. Especially in a keeper league he should be considerably lower.

Overall a good list though!

I forgot to mention, this is a 10 team, redraft league. Otherwise,
#71 would be in the top 30 atleast.

You can drop Keyshawn off that list and at the LEAST move Curtis Conway ahead of him.

Nice list though. Who the heck is T-diddy supposed to be anywho?

Looks good overall. I think you have QBs rated to high in general. I would also probably move Harrison (and maybe a couple other receivers) up due to the 1-point / rec.

I also think QB's are a little high

I think Keyshawn is just fine where he is.

In addition to Rice, I think you might have those Smiths, Jimmy and Rod, a little high as well. This isn't 2000.

You might want to add Stacey Mack into the tier of RB with Anthony Thomas, Troy Hambrick, Amos Zereoue. He is just as likely to be the full-time starter as any of them, more so than most.

From what we hear right now out of Philly, you might want to drop Staley down and move Buckhalter up into your list

I didn't analyze it too much, but it's easier for me when I do cheat sheets to list the top 10 or so RBs followed by the top 10 or so QBs and so on down the list. It's easier to read, and you don't have to worry as much about overall rank. For instance then you aren't comparing McNabb to Harrison. Both are obviously really high, but who's more valuable?
