Grossman out for the season

Postby Bowie » Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:38 pm

This is being reported by Dan Pompeii on Sporting News Radio.
I can only assume this hurts T. Jones (and obviously the Bear's recievers).

Edit: Grossmen injured both his MCL and ACL.

I can't believe I have to rush out and get Quinn now. Week 5 with Dorsey/Quinn is sadly hilarious.

Real bummer about Grossman though... his first starting gig, too.

This ain't good, particularly since I was counting on TJones to cover for Deuce's disappearance. I'm not sure Quinn's the answer, either.

Tim Couch ... can you hear me now? :-P

I would start a High School JV QB before Couch.

Does anyone know anything about Quinn?

Im not sure this will affect TJones all that much - its not like teams were respecting CHI's passing game before this anyway. Time will tell I guess.

I like the way Lovie has these guys playing, but injuries have just killed the Bears. Quinn is stiff as a board and has zero mobility. The Eagles are going to blitz the hell out of him next week, and he may be leaving on a gurney. Da Bears are now regretting not going after a Warner or Collins in the off-season.
Vengeance is mine.

Interesting, we could be talking about the fantasy emergence of THREE Middle Tennessee State alums in coming weeks...Quin, Calico and Rashard Lee. Who'd a thunk?

You can't help but feel bad for the Bears. They've been absolutely dessimated by injuries and it's only week 3.
