Wayne's Insane?

Postby Nohl » Mon Sep 27, 2004 12:50 pm

Based on the past 2 weeks I would say that Reggie Wayne is becoming one of Peyton Mannings favorite targets but, I could be wrong. Will Wayne continue to put up the numbers he has for the past 2 weeks or, is he an overrated #2 reciever?

Not any knock on Wayne, but he's better because he's next to Marvin and Brandon. Seriously, who are you going to cover? You double team Marv and the other two are in single coverage. You cover the other two and Marv is open. It's a no-win scenario. Reggie is for real, but some credit needs to be given to Marvin Harrison. ;-D

I'm getting so F-in sick of the Wayne event. He is getting the numbers Harrison should be getting. I don't care if it is because Harrison is so good. The fact of the matter is, Wayne is the fantasy stud right now and Marvin is a good #2 receiver. That makes me feel great considering where I picked Marvin and where Reggie went. I hope this role reversal is not a trend. Eventually they have to start covering Wayne better. I can't belive they are just letting him run free. :-# :-# :-#
