Word on S. Davis?

Postby tmfs » Mon Sep 27, 2004 1:53 pm

Anybody have any info on if Davis will be starting this week for the panthers. They were mentioning it could be possible that davis could play in week 4. I own Foster and need him to start badly (O. Smith and Shaun are on a bye), If davis does come back this week would they split the carries and would it make Foster practically worthless to start.

I don't think you'll see Davis back for at least a couple weeks if at all. With a stud like Foster they won't be in any hurry to get him back before he is fully healed.

I understand he won't have a game like he did in week 2 every week, but i really need him to start this week after that if he loses the job back to Davis is fine with me cause by that time Alexander and Bennett will be back to take over the role.

I doubt that you have anything to worry about starting Foster.
They said 2-5 weeks, and that was 2 weeks ago this coming Friday...
I don't believe they will rush Davis back, they know they will need him down the stretch.

I guess anything is possible, but IMO the odds are Foster is good for another week or 2 anyways...
Then it'll probably be RBBC....groan...
Don't blame us if your players stink the place up....You got our OPINION, your not paying any money for advice!!
If your new guy gets injured.. it happens, and not part of the equation beforehand.
Good Luck, and Thanks for being reasonable.

Some guy a week ago dropped S. Davis (what a fool) and I swooped in and picked him up. Figured, it couldn't hurt much if I have the roster spot available. It'll mean dropping McGahee this week is a strong possibility (I am a Henry owner) but it's worth it in my mind.

Will S. Davis start or play this week? Who knows, we'll just have to wait and watch the coach comments/practice.

At least I have got through this week with a victory with Dillon, Henry and a couple other guys on my bench on bye and Priest saved the day for me with his 5 pts, as I won by 3. I'm 2-1 in that big money league....whew! ;-D
