Kevin Jones high ankle sprain...out 2-4 weeks

There's another short post on this, but the title is vague and people probably missed it.

KJ has a high ankle sprain and looks to be out at least 2-4 weeks

Anyone know who will get most of the carries? Pinner, Bryson, or both?
Vengeance is mine.

Damn, too bad for the Lions this year. At least they got ROY.

I would guess that Pinner would get more carries, but it might be more of an RBBC than anything else.

Pinner and Bryson split yesterday with Bryson getting better numbers. Not much can be taken from that however for a couple reasons: it was a blowout after the first qtr so any running game DET had after that was in basically garbage situations - also, DET lost Schlesinger early too which will have a major affect on their rushing game.

DET expects Schlesinger back after the bye week along with Dre Bly and Andre Goodman (our starting cornerbacks).

KJones doesnt really have a timetable for his return:

AP wrote:``High ankle sprains can be two weeks or they can be 12,'' Lions coach Steve Mariucci said Monday. ``He's had these before, and he was back in a couple weeks both times, so that's what we are hoping for.''

Either way - DET has been decimated by injuries this season so far. All I can say is that its nice to get some of these other guys some good experience.

Its not good that teams can sit back and pick apart a secondary with one starter on it though - thats not fun to watch. :-t
I know McNabb is good and the Eagles are a good team, but when you basically play your entire 2nd string secondary against them it makes them look a lot better. :-P
