Pittman is a very nice pick up. He won't have Jones around to share the ball with and is an excellant pass catcher. He'll likely end up with more TDs this season too.

There's a lot of energy being expended here dissecting minutia.

The guy is a veteran back with receiving ability, and he's immediately stepping into a full-time, feature role (not a job share, though Alstott will get short-yardage calls).

Sure, the offense is lame, but how many feature backs are available in week 4?

If you need one, grab him. If you have strength and depth at RB, pass.

Supposedly, Pittman regrests how this whole ordeal has affected everybody and is out to prove what type of player he can be. Although I'm certainly not sold on his newly found grace, I do think he is worth being stashed on the fantasy bench. Tampa is desperate for anything right now and would be willing to let it ride with Pittman if it will get Gruden some wins.
