Thats good news. As soon as I saw Garner writhing in pain on the field, I grabbed Pittman. My league gives 1 point for receptions, so Pitt could be decent. I just wish he could get over his irrational fear of the endzone.

I drafted him late in a 14 teamer. dont I look smart now. I was seriously lacking at rb depth in that league. thankyou crappy field in oakland. (network associates?) well it was kin da of a fluke, but that field sucks anyway!

I think him & Keyshawn should go to the same therapist.

They said Alstott would be taking away Goal Line carries... Reminds me of Philly...

Michael Pittman was still a serviceable RB last year and only had... what, two receiving TDs? That's basically the same production anyone would have gotten out of Charlie Garner for the season... Pittman's definitely a great pickup - nice bye week filler or trade bait.

This is where I think he has the most value -- in leagues where receptions are rewarded with points. Otherwise, I don't see him racking up enough yards or TD's to be an effective contributor on a consistent basis.

Hope I'm wrong (I picked him up in my receptions league), but I had him last year on my squad, so I my expectations are a bit tempered.
