Why do the Skins,Cowboys,Dolphins wear white jerseys at home?

I know some teams will wear them at the beginning of the season by choice because they are "cooler".Is there any reason why these teams do all the time and are there any others?

Just wondering...

I think the white home Uni's is just tradition. Don't know how it all started, but here's a cool link to NFL Uni history.

I've never understood why the Skins and Cowboys do it. I understand Miami for the sun (although hardly lately) Does anyone in Dallas or Wahshington know?? I think that Arizona does it too at home for the same sun reason.

Detroit definetly looks better as Blue and Silver.

I'd assume that Washsington does it because it looks less excentric than their Red jerseys.

The Cowboys' original jersey was white, so that would be it, in my mind.
