All those people that drafted Steve Smitth, Stephen Davis or Deuce McAllister that have lost because of injuries, unlucky or bad at fantasy football?

I don't think she lost because of luck. I think she lost because she was a girl.

LOL.

We had two women in our league last year. One finished second and the other finished third. The year before that, we had one woman in our league and she beat me in the championship. :-P What's funny is that both women take FF seriously but when they lose, they're much better sports about it than the men in our league are (myself included). I really think it's Karma rewarding them. :-)

This doesn't beat the original post, but I am a FF rookie who is 8-1 across 3 leagues. I'm pretty happy with that considering I only did one live draft...the other 2 were drafted based on my player rankings. I expect my luck to run thin later in the season, but I never thought I'd start off like this :)

I am 3-0 with this keeper roster below. I am pretty happy about it so far. Hopefully my run (luck) will continue.

How about this... This was my 2/3 of my lineup going into Sunday:

L. Coles - 4 points
J. Smith - 5 points
Q. Griffin - 2 points
R. McMichael - 5 points
D. Rhodes - 0 points
J. Feely - 6 points

And I won!

Mainly because the other 1/3 of my lineup was:

P. Manning - 34 points
E. James - 13 points
Seattle D - 21 points

Looks like you still had 90 points. Was the other guy even close. I guess so becuz you added Ejames to your list of help.

Going into the Monday night game he was down by 4... I had Coles to play, and he had Dallas' Defense... I ended up winning by 3...

3-0 in a 12 man league (I know it looks good for a 12 man but I made some great trades). Had high score all three weeks!!

Culpepper, Daunte QB MIN *
Palmer, Carson QB CIN
(I will probably pick up VOlek and then Gus F next week)

Tomlinson, LaDainian RB SD *
Bennett, Michael RB MIN (injured, would start if wasn’t)
Jones, Thomas RB CHI *
Johnson, Larry RB KC

Holt, Torry WR STL *
Owens, Terrell WR PHI *
Walker, Javon WR GB
Lelie, Ashley WR DEN

Gates, Antonio TE SD *

Feely, Jay K ATL *

Ravens, DST *
Bills, DST (for week 6 and 8)
