This is a classic example of where the stats are misleading.
Except for a 54 yard bomb in the second quarter, all of B.Schroeder's yardage and his touchdown came in garbage time. If you watched the game, the Raiders were out to a HUGE lead (30-6) when they allowed some major yardage and a touchdown to both Tim Brown and B.Schroeder.
B.Schroeder only had 4 catches, and 54 of his yards came on one play. He only had three catches in the two prior games! Brad Johnson threw to 10 different receivers against Oakland; Schroeder competes with Clayton, Brown, Lee, Allstott, Dilger, White and others for the ball. And with Pittman returning, arguably the best pass-catching running back in the league will compete for Johnson's attention.
Take a flier on Randy Hymes from Baltimore or Ronald Curry of Oakland but leave B.Schroeder alone, imo.
