Injured RBs, how would I improve my roster

Postby Dtown3033 » Tue Sep 28, 2004 11:47 am

This is my lineup as of right now.

QB: Jake Plummer, Trent Green
RB: Deuce McAllister (inj) Fred Taylor, Kevin Jones (inj), Lee Suggs (inj), Lamar Gordon (inj), and Lenard Henry
WR: Chad Johnson, L. Coles, Pearless Price, Justin McCariens, and Terry Glenn
TE: Randy McMichael
Def: Jacksonville
K: Adam Viniteri

I just recently dropped Lamar Gordon, and im almost positive im going to get Larry Johnson off of waivers. Ive been trying to trade away Trent Green, and pick up Vinny off of waivers. Im trying to get a package deal with somebody for a solid RB. What do you recommend, and how else could i improve my roster.

Its a 10 team Yahoo league, and im currently in 2nd to last place

You've got your work cut out for you with trades ... you're not in a great sell-high position with alot of these guys. Your top players are underperforming a bit. I think they'll be fine, but you can't command a great price at the moment. I think you might be able to limp along with Fraud & (dare I say this) Leonard Henry in Week 4, but the next few weeks look rough on your WRs.

Keep us posted.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

Deuce was my first round pick and then i came around with Fred Taylor and Chad Johnson. Johnson and Taylor should be doing better. I really thought Kevin Jones was gonna be a big time sleeper, but he has failed me to say the least. Pearless Price needs to step it up. It kills me that nobody wants Trent Green. I want to trade him and have Jake Plummer and then pick up Vinny. Do I have absolutely any players of value that i could ship in a package deal a healthy RB and maybe a wr. And Pittman is still available, but i thought he was in jail, is that just me.

Trades and wire work. Keep up with the injuries and pickup those backups.
