Rookie coach mistake?

Postby knockarond guys » Tue Sep 28, 2004 12:16 pm

This is my second year playing FF and am in a 12 team league. I went after the best available RB's with my first three picks since they weren't as deep and essentially missed out on top ten QB's and WR's.

Now I am 0-3 and in last place. What would you do to help bolster this team?

Qb's - K.Collins/C.Palmer
Rb's - A.Green/D.Davis/B.Westbrook
Wr's - R.Wayne/J.McCareins/K.Robinson
Te/wr flex - E.Johnson/D.Graham
K - J.Brown/M.Stover
Def - Was/StL

I started out with B. Johnson at QB but I cut him after two games since TB seems to not have any offensive weapons. He is still available as well as Bledsoe, Roth, Rattay, McCown, and Boller.

Your problem is that you didn't get three solid RBs. You got one solid RB (Green), and two inconsistent running backs. Davis, while he did put up good number last season, is still a rookie and tends to fumble. Westbrook, while a decent back, plays on a team that is thinking pass first, pass second, and run third. If I were you, once Davis gets healthy, again, look to trade him for a consistent WR.
